AGO adventures was set up to provide services to the growing independent outdoor education industry in the Shropshire/Marches region. Whilst not traditionally associated with outdoor pursuits, this area is developing and has good transport links to Snowdonia, the Lake District and Peak District (all reached within 2 hours).

We currently provide a range of services, including:

1. •Canoe and kayak hire
   

2. •Duke of Edinburgh’s Award assessments (assessor only as we are not yet a D of E approved activity provider)
   

3. •Bespoke expeditions in the UK and overseas for paddling, walking and mountain biking,
   

4. •BCU courses in canoe and kayak 1-4 star performance awards and Foundation Safety and Rescue
   

5. •Team-building exercises (we have a range of 14 different activities) which we can supply as an on-site, staffed activity, or you can purchase the equipment for one or more of the activities so you can use them again and again
   

6. •Technical advice for the AALS (again we don’t currently hold our own AALS licence but have been acting as technical advisers for several providers for a number of years)
   

7. •High quality First Aid training
   

8. •Bespoke coaching and guiding in walking, paddling, climbing and mountain biking.
